We have been doing buffets and barbecues for several years now, and the feedback we have received from our clients has been so good that we have decided to launch a more comprehensive catering service to private individuals and businesses within Ayrshire.

Our key themes when we are creating our menus include:

  • modern and creative recipes
  • professional and reliable service

Each event we do is different, and hence the first thing we have to do is come and visit your venue, whether it be your house, your office or the local village hall. We will then discuss the nature of the event, numbers and timings. After this we will suggest several options, and give you time to decide what you want us to do for you.


Private Parties

If you are having a house party, where you want simple, great tasting food that everyone will enjoy, you could choose from any of these dishes, and we will add in side dishes to complement.

  • "Famous Dalduff" Steak Pie
  • Lamb & Apricot Tagine
  • Beef & Ale Casserole
  • West Coast Fish Pie
  • Beef Fillet Stroganoff
  • Thai Green Curry with Chicken or Tiger Prawn
  • Vegetarian, Beef or Seafood Lasagne

Side dishes could include gratin daupinoise, roasted herby potatoes, chargrilled summer vegetables, lemon and mint cous cous, French beans with garlic dressing, mixed greens with coriander and tahini dressing, cherry tomato and caper salad, celeriac remoulade, rice and peas.

This option would be £10 per head, including cutlery and crockery, paper napkins and bread. We will arrive, reheat food, set up a buffet area and then clear down after the party, meaning you have nothing to do except enjoy your party. We can add dessert/cheese board for £5 extra and we do ask for a minimum of 20 covers.

For larger events and parties we suggest a more elaborate buffet incorporating both hot and cold dishes. The main focus is on truly memorable meat, as you would expect from Dalduff Farm, we then complement this with scrumptious salads, healthy vegetable options, handmade terrines, seafood dishes, and sauces.

Menus have included platters of roasted sirloin of beef, honey glazed ham, turkey breast, mini pork sausages with mustard, handmade scotch eggs, luxury sausage rolls, smoked fish salad, farmhouse terrine with pickles, tomato & olive tarts, celeriac remoulade, pear, fennel & pomegranate salad, asian style mixed beans, beetroot and spinach with maple dressing, slow roasted pork shoulder with Cajun spices, Moroccan style leg of lamb, jacket potatoes with crème fraiche, honey roasted parsnips, Mediterranean vegetables in balsamic dressing, spiced Puy lentils and red cabbage with apple.

We like to work with what’s in season and also what looks the best at the fruit market in Glasgow, so menus can and will be altered right up until the event.

This option would start at £12.50 per head, including cutlery and crockery, paper napkins, and setting up and clearing down, and any staff that may be required. We need a minimum of 50 covers for this option.

Corporate Catering

As a well respected and experienced butcher, and with a team of experienced cooks, we are barbeque specialists, and offer a wide and exciting range of menus to suit all tastes. £10 per head – steak burgers and hotdogs served in soft baps with sauces, marinated chicken and lamb kebabs, coleslaw, rice salad and tomato salad, served on paper plates £12.50 per head – selection of canapés, whole roasted pig, served with apple sauce, six salads, and soft baps, served on china plates with cutlery £15 per head – selection of canapés, gourmet sausages and burgers, tandoori style lamb chops, lemon & herb chicken skewers, thai style prawn skewers, steaks with chimichurri sauce, six salads, all crockery and cutlery. We have all our own equipment, gas and charcoal systems, and will prepare all food fresh at your event. We can assist with the hire of extra equipment such as marquees, tables and chairs.
